Around 9:30 this morning we received the awaited phone call that the Explorer had started well this morning and was ready to go, Kendall Ford was also sending their free shuttle to pick us up. No parts were replaced, they just cleaned the MAF (mass air filter) and the fuel injectors. So far today, it has started and restarted perfectly. Before it started OK, but would not restart, well at least with me at the wheel.
Also want to post a photo of what we woke up to this morning. Sunshine and shadows!
Then after shopping the drizzle and rain began.
But by evening the rain had stopped and the sun was out there in the distance.
Tomorrow we are heading out of there with plans to stop about half way to Denali NP, then drive the rest of the way Saturday.
