March 3, 2011 – Staking
March 4, 2011 – Moving dirt
All of the above photos were taken by Dianne, our next door neighbor, and emailed to us, as we were on our way back to Retama from getting new shades installed at MCD in McKinney, Tx. Thanks Dianne and Roger for keeping us updated!
We arrive at Retama Village on Saturday afternoon, March 5th, so these and all future photos we taken by us.
March 7, 2011
No activity on the lot.
March 8, 2011 – trenches and a few footers
March 9, 2011 – pipes for sewer and rebar
Arnold, the superintendent filling Bob in on the latest.
By afternoon, the pipes were in the trenches and standing up waiting for an inspection.
Each section of the pad is leveled out. This photo shows dust in the air, yes, these fellows were shoveling out the excess very fast. Roger and Dianne, next door are tying to ignore the dust while they entertain some friends visiting from Indiana.
March 10, 2011 - each pad section was leveled off by hand, vapor barrier covers coach house elevated pad, waiting for sewer pipe inspection, approval comes with green tag and the placement of the rebar.
The green tag is for the sewer line inspection, what it has to do with pest control, I do not know?
This oval area is the green space on the RV pad. Also included in this space is a sewer cleanout and electric.
The photo below shows the green space where we are parked right now, two short blocks away.
Bob on the throne!

Your photos capture the progress perfectly! It's a thing of beauty already. See you next week! -- Dianne
What fun, getting to see your new abode being built from the dirt up!
Not too many RV Parks have daily entertainment like that! :)
Just a couple of weeks and it will be all done! Amazing!
Kathy
