Sego Canyon and Crystal Geyser, UT

On Saturday we headed out to see Sego Canyon to find some pictographs and the ghost town of Sego.  Today we drove east of Green River about 25 miles.  What we found was awesome.  Pictographs and Petroglyphs and unfortunately some gringoglyphs (F B).

These pictographs were amazing, life size.

Then about a 1/2 mile further down the road to the ghost town of Sego. (John, wish you were here!  This ghost town has buildings!)

Then, back towards Green River, to find the Crystal Geyser.  Well here it is, it erupts every 12-16 hours, but, it had erupted only about 3 hours ago we were told, so…we did not wait around for next event.  But we did see this pool fill in to what is in the photo from a pool about a yard across.

The area around the geyser was very colorful.
