Exploring Nephi and Mona, UT, Oct 31, 2010

With several emails flying back and forth, it was confirmed that our good friends John and Judy will be stopping at the same RV park in Nephi as we are in.  They will be here on Nov. 2nd, so we will extend our stay here, and at $12.50 per night (CampClub USA), no problem!

In Nephi we found this wetland area, called Burraston Ponds, fed by a warm spring.  On our way there, this black swirl caught our eye.

They are birds, don’t know what kind, but there were thousands of them.  They settled for a short time in some of trees around the ponds.   Doesn’t this rope look like fun?

Back in Nephi, found the “Old Mill Wheel.  This mill has had an operating history from 1859 to 1949.

Thought you might enjoy seeing our sophisticated leveling device for our Directv tripod. The best part, it works!
