Spences Bridge, BC – Day 2, May 22, 2010

Today was mostly spent watching the birds.  This hummer was very fascinated with our coach mirror.  We think this is a female Rufous.

056 And this one a male Rufous.

After lunch Bob decided to put up our other birdfeeder, but first needed to repair the base.

006  Here is the stand now with a regular bird seed feeder and a new hummingbird feeder, this is the first time I have used this one.

009

It took one minute from putting up the new hummer feeder for it to be used by one of five hummers we have had flying around this afternoon.  At one point had some other birds in the regular feeder.  Also had some finches at the thistle seed feeder.

015 You might say this day has gone to the birds, except for making some homemade bread.  It was a mix from Bob’s Red Mill, Whole Grain Low Carb Bread Mix.  Believe me, it was wonderful!!

Love those hummers!! I also like that bird feeder pole. What is the pole itself made out of?

Enjoy your homemade bread!! Looks yummy. :)
