Coach Projects May 12-14, 2010

Bedroom TV:  Well our bedroom TV is history.  We removed it while we were in Junction City, then donated it to the Goodwill 004Store.  Would you believe it weighed 48 pounds.   Reasons for removal:   1) did not use it, probably watched it only 10 hours since 2006.   2) We also wanted to move our genealogy boxes out of the basement bay so the files are more accessible, this space seemed perfect.  3)  removed 48 # from the coach.

Well, this empty space was soon 016reinforced with 3/4” plywood as a floor which Bob cut with a handsaw, good job Bob!   The 4 genealogy boxes were moved up from the  storage bay and then we ended up getting a print of Bob’s favorite family painting, which Jenny now has, done at Wal-Mart.  Framing and matting were added,  we love it!

In our RV we are challenged for wall space, so this area was the only place a picture like this works.

Bob also reorganized both pass through bays.  We have so much room,  before we had boxes double stacked, now only one level high.  He is so excited with having all this tools with easy access. 036

We also purged our clothes and made a Goodwill donation.  It is amazing how much you don’t need!  Live simply!

Now, instead of growing my own flowers,  I enjoy someone else's.  Aren’t these beautiful!011 T-2 days (May 17th)  until we cross into British Columbia for our North to Alaska trip.

I love the use of the TV space in your bedroom. Bob did such a great job and the space for the picture is perfect.

We will enjoy following along with you guys as you travel Alaska. That is our dream trip but we have a few years to go yet. We are just getting settled into this lifestyle.

Travel safely and enjoy the journey!
