OK, how are you going to say 2010, two thousand ten ..or.. twenty ten??
We met back up with John and Judy on Wed, then headed west to arrive at Imperial Dam LTVA (Long Term Visitor Area) on New Year’s Eve. This time we followed their RV to our lunch stop as they had been their before. Destination..Dateland, AZ.
We did get our date shakes—yes they were wonderful! Also had fun tasting other types of dates and bought some for enjoy later. The gift shop had this bag for sale, I didn’t buy one, but thought a photo would suffice.
We arrived at Imperial Dam mid afternoon, we unhooked our car and drove around looking for the right spot. Our site from last year was occupied, but ended up finding the perfect spot for both of our RV’s. Our closest neighbors are a gully away.
It didn’t take us long to get a fire going and starting to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
No dinner, just lots appetizers-crab cakes, pot stickers, sausage balls and shrimp, a game of Yahtzee, Mexican Train, horns and blowers brought in our New Year.
