Beach and Aquarium, Jan. 27, 2010

057More exploring today, so off we all went to Cet-Mar.   We had visited here 3 years ago and found it in much better condition than before.  I even got to hold a sea urchin, as you can see I am not real sure of it.

039 Another interesting creature was this small  soccer ball sized octopus.  In this photo we are face to face, with one of his/her tentacles reaching out of the water to see what I was.

011 The four sea turtles were very gentle even when Bob fed them.

022 Then came the noisy one…when he saw Bob had food, he was rather ingenious in getting Bob’s attention.

After the aquarium, it was time for some beach combing.

Then lunch time at the Blue Marlin, we sat out on their porch  (red awning) which overlooks the Sea of Cortez.062

Fish and shrimp tacos, with pickled onions, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo along with Jamaica or hibiscus tea.

On our way home we stopped at the local market for a new supply of tomatoes, limes, onions and avocados.  Dinner was chicken tacos with homemade corn tortillas and wonderful pico de gallo that John made!!  Yum…
