The fog bank hung around until late morning, but did eventually clear to a beautiful sunny, well, mostly sunny afternoon. We decided to take an afternoon walk into Homer.
We walked from the RV Park crossed the road and we were on our way, first came upon this coffee shop called Cafe Cups.
There were a few older buildings to see, older building here means built in the mid thirties. Most of the old buildings are still in use having been remodeled.
This is an exception- this tiny log cabin was built in 1927 and was used as a post office until 1936.
I found several flowers in bloom. Single marigold and huge palm sized red peonies.
Did some looking at a shop and saw these cute signs.
We capped the evening off by eating out at Fat Olives, wonderful Italian cuisine, thanks Grant and Kathy for the recommendation. Lemon Blueberry cheesecake for dessert!! Yes, we did split it, I cut and got to pick first too!
