Not bad, for a photo taken at 10:30 pm last night, the sun finally peaked out.
A film crew spent the night at the Grandview RV Park, this morning they were filming a segment in front of the tent (yellow triangle). Before long they were in an RV driving out of the park.
Bob noticed when they pulled out of the RV site, their air bags had not yet inflated as their mud/rock guard was dragging the ground.
Our short drive today was scenic, I am sure, but we could not see much. This part of the Glenn Hwy was winding and narrow, not much shoulder.
Arrived at the Big Bear RV Park in Wasilla, Good Sam discount, water & electric for $24.50/night. Also have a clear view of the southern sky, so the Motosat locked on very quickly for internet.
The park’s check in lady gave us a map and places of interest for us to see (no she did not mention Sarah Palin’s home). One place she mentioned and they only gave tours on Friday was the West Coast Tsunami Warning Center.
Our over an hour tour was wonderful. This facility is manned 24/7, we learned so much about and how tsunami’s behave, very interesting.
Our evening ends with this view looking east, hopefully that dark cloud will keep on moving by.
Tomorrow, we will be buying a new tire!
