This morning Bob brought me some wildflowers! Whenever I can, I try to have flowers in the coach-from God’s garden.
We stopped at this heritage site, to find it was closed today, Victoria Day.
The buildings were closed but, we did walk around and look at outsides of several of the buildings. I loved this 1933 miners cabin with a sod roof.
I took this photo through a side window of this cabin looking across the cabin and out the other side window. Cool shot.
Bob found this piece of farm machinery, made by Allied. We think it is some sort of a hay baler, does anyone know what it is?
I know they call Montana the ‘big sky country’, but I think this part of BC could also claim that saying! Those yellow flowers are dandelions-they were everywhere!
We stopped at the Save- On-Foods store here in Williams Lake and found in their huge bulk section small and medium sized dark chocolate chips – guess what I bought – both of them! They were close to $3.90 per pound after you convert to US dollars and to pounds.
We are boondocking tonight in the parking lot of the Signal Point Gaming Casino, so far we are the only RV here. Just got back from the ‘smokeless’ casino 10 cents richer than I went in. I played the nickel slots, lost $5, then put in another $5 and built that one up to $10.10, so I cashed out a winner!
Tomorrow heading up to Prince George, also stopping in Quesnel to do some sightseeing. Actually this is our first day in BC when we were not rained or sprinkled on!
