Today we attended an almost two hour Veterans Day ceremony in Deming. Many veterans, many spectators, many speakers, and many ROTC participants.
21 gun salute. White dove release – totally awesome, sorry no photos, they flew and circled too fast. Notice the missing man white tablecloth table.
We have noticed a couple of interesting pets in the RV Park. This dachshund doesn’t go for a walk, it is pulled.
Another fellow tried to walk his two cats, attached to the same rope. One wanted to walk the other one didn’t, so he carried #2. I have heard the term, it was like herding cats, well, I think that is what he was trying to do.
Tomorrow we are leaving Deming and heading south about 40 miles to Poncho Villa SP. We plan to drive 3 miles from the park and walk into Mexico to see if we can get our teeth cleaned and do some shopping at the Pink Store.
