New Glasses from Mexico, Dec 9, 2009

Since we are in Columbus New Mexico, that means we are three miles from Mexico and the small village of Palomas.  Today we drove down to the border, parked, and walked across and were on time for our 10:30 appointment to have our eyes examined and purchase new glasses.

001 Here are my NEW glasses, progressive transitions with magnetic sunglasses-each pair were $185 and that included the exam.  Also had them in two hours and they accepted one of our personal checks for payment.

While the glasses were being made we had lunch again at the Pink Store with John and Judy, again great food with great friends and fun Spanish music sung by request -- Feliz Navidad.

Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad
Prospero Ano y Felicidad.
Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad
Prospero Ano y Felicidad.
I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas
I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas
I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas
From the bottom of my heart.

Hi guys,
Whenever you get a chance could you send me information on the exact where, how and who in getting eye exam and glasses in Mexico. Mike and I might just plan our travels around a trip in that direction for that purpose. We both need glasses and you can't beat those prices in the states.
Do you all see a dentist in Mexico also? If so, how is that experience?
Thanks again for your information.
